With the primary alloyants of Alloy C276 exhaust pipes, ASTM B619 welded pipes being nickel, molybdenum and chromium, these pipes naturally inherit excellent corrosion resistance properties in severe environments. The high contents of both nickel and molybdenum make the Hastelloy C276 welded Pipes particularly resistant to crevice corrosion and pitting in reducing environments. Whereas the addition of chromium to the alloy of these welded pipes is what conveys resistance to them in the presence of oxidizing media. In fact, seamless constructed Alloy C276 pipes can operate in oxidizing atmospheres where the temperature can rise as high as 1900°F.

Widely used across the most severely corrosive environments, Hastelloy C276 pipes is useful in many sectors, for instance, chemical processing, pulp and paper production. The alloy could also be used for applications involving pollution control, industrial along with municipal waste treatment, and recovery of sour natural gas, where the UNS N10276 exhaust pipes are able to demonstrate excellent performance. Seamless pipes made from Werkstoff Nr. 2.4819, DIN 2.4819 pipes can be produced up to a size of 6" NB. However in case, our buyers require a larger sized pipes, they could be made available through welded construction or these pipes could be fabricated to customizations.
